Stranger Things 2: Thoughts & Speculation

• So now I'm ready to get into some thoughts and speculation I have about Season Two. If you don't want any ideas or speculation in your head, I completely understand. I’ve only got a couple of thoughts that would be spoiler territory if I end up being right. And definitely don’t read this if you haven’t seen Season One. So if you don't mind hearing my thoughts and ideas going into this season then here ya' go.

• The big hook of the first season was finding Will. And it was a great one. But for me, Season Two is the big test for the Duffer Bros. Tomorrow we're gonna find out if they can do it again, or if they are going to have a George Lucas turn. And if they knock it out of the park, I will trust them forever. I don't have any reason to be concerned. The trailers have looked amazing. But if they're gonna do it again, they NEED to have another giant hook in the story. And they have a big one to lead up to. What’s the hook? Is it we’ve gotta find Eleven? Is it we’ve gotta expose the lab? Or is it we’ve gotta fix Will? Is it we’ve gotta find a way to fireball the giant Thessalhydra? Who knows?! I am a little concerned about them having a bigger budget. Some directors aren't as good when they have all the money and no limitations. I’m really worried about that giant monster in the trailer. I’m pretty sure it’s just gonna be all in Will’s head. How are a group of kids, a sheriff, and a couple of teenagers gonna fight a ‪Godzilla‬ size monster? But I am pumped out of my mind that Andrew Stanton is directing a couple episodes. And I really like that they’re titling Stranger Things 2 like it’s a sequel.

• This season will be the first time that Noah Schnapp really gets to shine as an actor. I’m excited to see what Noah Schnapp has got up his sleeve this season. It’s interesting because we don’t have much time to feel like Will is really connected to the group. So in Season Two, we have a role switch between Eleven and Will. Will is the broken person with the group and Eleven is the one missing. And I'm really interested in seeing where Eleven is going. I think she's definitely trying to stay away from the group and maybe trying to get some answers. I think that scene that we see in the trailer of Eleven with hair opening a door. I've heard people speculate this idea and I agree, I think that scene is Eleven trying to find her mother. If there’s a scene with Eleven reuniting with her mom, I CANNOT wait to see what Millie Bobbie Brown can do with that as an actress.

• And that leads us to all these questions. What in the world is Will hacking up? Where are those things going?! Why isn’t he telling anybody!? Is Dr. Brenner dead? I HAVE to know more of what on earth is happening between the bad men and Hopper. Where did Eleven go? Who is Nancy going to end up with? This season will probably the first time ever that I’ve cared about a love triangle being Nancy and Jonathan and Steve since Star Wars. What are all these creatures? Who are the 6 people that went missing? Dr. Brenner says “6 people have been taken this week” We know there's Will, Barb, the lab worker who went into the portal, And the two hunters who went on a binger. There’s still one more. More questions!!! Well, I'm ready to find out.
